Wijziging Algemene Voorwaarden

Beste klant,

Wij willen je informeren over de 5e anti-witwasrichtlijn (AMLD5) die op 10 januari 2020 in werking treedt in de Europese Unie.

Deze wet heeft tot doel de voorkoming van het gebruik van het financiële stelsel voor het witwassen van geld of terrorismefinanciering.

Wat gaat er veranderen?

Om het gebruik van prepaidkaarten nog veiliger te maken zijn er nieuwe regels opgesteld met betrekking tot gebruik- en opwaardeerlimieten. Deze regels hebben invloed op de pay2d card/virtual account met een “plus status” (KYC2). Voor de  pay2d card/virtual account in de “pro status”  zullen er geen wijzigingen plaatsvinden.

Wat betekent dit voor jou?

De belangrijkste wijzigingen in de pay2d card/virtual account in de “plus status” zijn:

  • Na 10 januari 2020 mag er maximaal een saldo van € 150,- op de kaart/account staan
  • Het maximale bedrag dat per jaar kan worden uitgegeven wordt € 150,-
  • Het maximale bedrag voor een online betaling wordt € 50,- **
  • Het is na 10 januari 2020 niet meer mogelijk om zelf in je account saldo terug te boeken naar jouw bankrekening

** Ook voor de My Card (anonieme kaart) wordt het maximale bedrag voor online betalingen € 50,-

Wij zullen je binnenkort verder informeren welke mogelijkheden er zijn om toch gebruik te maken van hogere gebruik- en opwaardeerlimieten, zodat je kan blijven profiteren van de huidige voordelen.

We want to inform you about the 5th anti-money laundering directive (AMLD5) that will enter into the European Union on 10th January 2020.

The purpose of this law is to prevent the use of the financial system for money laundering or terrorist financing.

What will change?

To make the use of prepaid cards even more secure, new rules have been drawn up with regard to use and top-up limits. These rules affect the pay2d card/virtual account with a “plus status” (KYC2).  No changes will take place for the pay2d card/virtual account in the “pro status”.

What does it mean for you?

The most important changes to the pay2d card/virtual account in the “plus status” are:

  • After January 10, 2020 a maximum of € 150,- can be on the card/account
  • The maximum amount that can be spend, will be € 150,- per year
  • The maximum amount for an online payment will be € 50,-**
  • After January 10, 2020 it is no longer possible to transfer an amount in your account back to your bank account

** Also for the My Card (anonymous card) the maximum amount for online payments will also be € 50,-
